Can I use this with Google Classroom, Schoology, Canvas, or Microsoft Teams?
Yes, our distance learning versions are built in Google Apps so you will make copies of them into your own file (no student would ever need access to this website). From there you can assign. In the case of Microsoft Teams, teachers download the Google Apps content as PowerPoints and distributed them this way. They do not lose the interactive capabilities.
Where are the answer keys to the interactive content?
The printable versions of the resources are directly above them in the file list and include the keys. We did not include it in the interactive content to make sharing the content more seamless.
What is the difference between the content here and what is on TpT?
Nothing! The difference is that on a separate website we are able to create an organized browsing experience, and can offer different payment options. In fact, if you purchase any complete curriculum bundles on TpT, I require you to access them here. In the future, there will be exclusive content here that is not available on TpT. Certain types of content will likely be unpublished on TpT as well.
Will my rate ever increase?
NO. When you lock in, you lock in forever. In fact, you might giggle when you see the hundreds of new subscribers getting a rate much higher than the one you locked in years ago.
Do you offer a trial period or credit for TpT purchases?
We do not have the functionality to offer a formal trial, but we do offer $ for $ credit on any purchases made on TpT toward any membership. For a couple bucks you can test out individual pieces before you join. Or better yet, click around on our freebies tab to find a 1,000 pages of free content to see if it suits you. Just complete this Clark Creative Credit form when you are ready to join.
Who uses this?
Based on our latest deep dive with the data (August 2020), over 100,000 teachers are using the content in their classroom. Some use it as supplemental and others use it exclusively. Many school have site licenses and a handful of districts have full licenses.
How much new stuff do you create?
In 2020, over 5,000 resources totaling 80,000 pages of content were created. So that is the low bar. Getting better and more efficient every day.
How do you create so much content?
Without revealing any secrets, we have a network of prototype testers, curriculum specialists, artists, editors, that works alongside our chief content creator. Each piece of content passes no less than three grade/subject specific experts prior to publication and is measured against our rigorous quality standards. Each new activity type is extensively tested by dozens of teachers prior to green light. Each of our existing activity types have met this standard.
Do kids like this stuff?
Yes, that’s the point. Kid of all ages. We are just big kids ourselves. Our theory is that the kids actually make the buying decisions of our products for the teacher. Since some of our content is a little different, teachers are a little skeptical of how they will work, but when the kids enjoy it, they come back for more… and more… and more. Our philosophy is to hook students with fun and joy so we can ask more difficult and challenging questions.
Am I able to cancel?
Sure. While the spirit of the low cost memberships is that they are ongoing, you can cancel anytime. You would lose access to the content as well as all new updates and new content. It is our job to keep making new things to keep everyone around. While we ask that you try our content out to see if it suits you (either at TpT or our 1,000 pages of freebies), we will provide refunds within 48 hours of purchase depending on your download count. So if you would like a full refund, view or print rather than download.
Can I download everything at once?
We previously had a difficult (and expensive) situation where a school district purchased one license and illegally put the content on a shared server that could be accessed by hundreds of people. I’m sure you can understand the problem. Our aim is to provide a platform that is more convenient than a single mass download.
Do you accept Purchase Orders?
Yes, we do this all the time. We require at least three years prepaid if the school prefers the membership model. Click here to begin.
Can I do a monthly payment option instead?
Yes, this can be accommodated in special cases. Given changes in sales tax law, we opted to only offer annual subscriptions to reduce total transaction volume. Please email teach@clarkcreativeeducation.com to set up such an arrangement.
Is this for everyone?
While we have broad appeal for students by design, this does not necessarily mean it is the right fit for every teacher. Teachers have different styles (and that doesn’t mean they are more or less effective). We’ve tried to make different content types that jive better for a variety of styles of teacher, but certainly our curriculum is different. Teachers that are a bit outside of the box, flexible, a bit of a risk-taker, oriented toward student-centered learning over teacher-centered instruction find we are usually in their sweetspot. Those that are leaning into personalized learning have really found a niche with us because of our huge content catalog. Others might like to pick up a few things on TpT to supplement what they already do.
