Description
Bring the TableTop Game revolution to your classroom! Board games are experiencing a renaissance, and tapping into their innate engagement is a no-brainer. This is the natural evolution of task cards.
TableTop games cover a single unit of study. The questions range from simple skill practice to application. Provided are four different game styles that can be played with the same set of math cards. Mix it up, or let your students choose what to play. The choice is yours!
In Journey, students play a traditional board game for 2-4 players. Students will move around the board trying to accumulate points. Each student will attempt the same question each turn. (you will need dice). Direct Link to Journey Directions
In Conquer, students play a strategy board game for 2 players. Students will perform attacks on their opponents with the goal of reaching their home base. Each student will attempt the same question each turn. (you will need either unit cubes or to laminate the game board and use dry-erase pens). Direct Link to Conquer Directions
In Draft, students play a pick-and-pass card game for 3-4 players. Students will select a problem from a hand in an attempt to score the most points. Watch out for those action cards! Each student will attempt the different questions each turn. Direct Link to Draft

This video provides an explanation of the game rules for the four different games. I have recorded it so that it is student-facing, but you can benefit from learning the rules yourself. (Written directions are also included).
You can find a link to a downloadable video of the directions Here. You may prefer to view through YouTube (Direct Link), because I have provided hyperlinks to the specific games in the event you want to introduce students to one game at a time.
Each game includes 32 question cards, two game boards, handouts for each game, one answer key card, and special action cards to make play even more fun.
You can use the cards one unit at a time or shuffle multiple units together for one epic review!
